Lisa Craig Gautier, Board President and Executive Director
In 1998, Lisa founded Matter of Trust, Inc. (MofT) and then co-founded
MofT's online donation / wish list matching database (Excess Access) with
her husband, Patrice Gautier (see below). She provides over 20 years of
both for-profit managerial experience and nonprofit networking. Previously
she was Assistant Director of International Development then promoted to
Assistant Treasurer, at Valeo - Paris (50,000 employees worldwide, equipment
partner of Renault). Before that she was Assistant Director for FedEx Logistics
Paris in 1994. From 1985-1993 she was the executive assistant for the legal
/ accounting firm CSMM, CPAs in San Francisco. Her ecological background
comes from extensive volunteer experience including living at the Jersey
Wildlife Preservation Trust in the UK Channel Islands to study breeding
of endangered species and zoo management (surprisingly useful in running
a charity). A mother of 3 young daughters, Lisa is a strong advocate for
the modern working environment with flexible schedules, home offices, and
a close-knit, dedicated, hard-working team.

Patrice Olivier Gautier, Vice President
Patrice is the Senior Director of the iTunes Music Store, Apple Inc. Previously
he worked as CTO of Netstruxr.com and before that as R & D engineer
for Thomson-CSF Paris in charge of NATO's Data Fusion Demonstrator. Earlier
still, as Research Assistant in the Knowledge Systems Lab at Stanford University
he was modeling the Reaction Control System for NASA's space shuttle. Patrice
holds an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Paris, France and a Masters
Degree in computer science from Stanford.

Peter de Vries, Secretary
Peter is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Previously, for over 17 years,
Peter was in the computer business. Most recently, as Director of Operations
for FTP Software's West Coast Office, he managed the initial set-up of FTP's
first remote office, and was in charge of administrative operations on the
West Coast. Peter is a patron of the arts and also serves on the Board of
Directors of the Endowment Fund for San Francisco's Lamplighters / Opera
West Foundation.
Kyle Freeman, Treasurer
Kyle Freeman is a teacher, writer, proofreader, computer consultant, and
core team member at Matter of Trust. He holds degrees from Rice University,
Ohio State, and Columbia, the last of which was in English Literature. His
work is currently to be found on the bookshelves of your nearest Barnes
& Noble Classic section, where his Complete Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
includes his introductions and copious footnotes. His fifteen minutes of
fame lasted for a whole week when in September of 1990 he was a four-time
Jeopardy! champion.
Jamie Gerard, Legal Counsel, Board Member
Jamie has been an attorney for over 20 years. She is a partner with the law firm of Nevas, Nevas, Nevas, Capsse & Gerard in Westport, Connecticut where she concentrates mainly in the areas of real estate, estate planning and administration, corporate and business law. She received her JD in 1980 from the Washington College of Law at The American University in Washington DC and a BA in Psychology in 1977 from the State University of New York at Albany. She has represented several nonprofit organizations and serves as legal counsel for Newman's Own, Inc., a company that, through its founder Paul L. Newman, donates all of its net profits to charities. Ms. Gerard was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Mid Fairfield Child Guidance Center, a mental health facility serving a large part of Fairfield County CT.
Travis Cripps, Board Member
Travis is a software engineer in the iTunes department at Apple Inc. After moving out here from Arizona, he'worked for PGP Corporation, MediaRing, NetStruxr, and Quetzal Consulting. Travis has been advising Matter of Trust for its online database, Excess Access, since 2000. And together with Patrice (Board VP) is responsible for the design and implementation of the dynamic database.
Joe Rosen, Board Member
Joseph is a managment consultant who specializes in the fields of retailing
and media. His clents have ranged from national firms such as Staples, Mrs.
Field's Cookies, and Conde-Nast to regional firms such as The Paper Store
and Kitchen Etc. He is active in the nonprofit world, a Board Member of
Community Action Partners, an organization sponsored by Boston Area Harvard
Business School Alumni that do pro bono advising. He is also on the Board
of The Food Project, a Boston organization with a mission that encompasses
food, youth and community.
